This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
ok ok i know im posting alot of journals about the SG's. but im just wondering. you know how you might not like something. you might actually despise it. but if you are exposed to it long enough. it grows on you sorta... kinda like if you hate country music. but are forced to listen to it for a long time. you will actually begin to find yourself not hating it. and eventually even liking it. (its a natural human response to our enviornment)
well anyhow. i was just wondering,,,, if i am on dev art for a long time. and i keep seeing these ugly chain pierced garbage bag wrapped green haired girls on the banner ad. will i eventually start to think they are cute and even *gasp* sexy?
Let me answer you some questions....
1 >> I am currently workin' drawing comics, but yeah you know how this works. all must be secret till published. You can check a page of my comic "ABIDING PERDITION", even the cover and some designs on my gallery.
2 >> I have been drawing SINCE ALL MY LIFE. I know this sounds really typical but it's the truth!!
3 >> Well, I don't use any book actuall, but I am looking for some that people recomend to me. All what I know I learned practicing, watching and working in artistic works. I worked in an animation studio, and there I learned most about my line.
4 >> The anatomy I know is by drawing my friends or girlfriend or that kind of things. When you draw many different people, you learn some basic stuff.... Just having some basic structures knowledges, and aplying it to different body shapes. Anyway, my knowledges are not still good enough to do a cool great work. I must learn more about anatomy (I'm having same problems as Mike Turner.... ah bad influences ) and need moooooore practicing.....
5 >> Well, I guess that actually that I'm working on comics, I spend around .... 15 hours a day drawing. Working, and later with my own projects.... But that is actually, since 2 months ago.
I've been working in a fuckin store during a year, cause in my country all publishers want comics for free... So it took me a little time to find a job in another country.
6 >> The work in progress I posted on Bluefire, I did to get critics. That is no important part of the story. Just the beginning, and 10 pages are enough to get a good opinion to correct storytelling, similar faces, camera angles, story holes, and this kind of mistakes that everybody have....
Well, hope all your questions looks answered here, dude!
Thanx a lot for your comments and that.
